Bioforst 2000 is a biodegradable oil, based on rapeseed oil for the lubrication of chainsaw chains and guides. High lubrication performance is further enhanced by a high degree of tackiness of the product. The lubrication of chainsaws is by a total loss system of lubrication and considerable quantities of lubricants therefore end up on the ground. Bioforst 2000 is quickly broken down into harmless products by micro-organisms in the soil.

Terrac Super Hydraulic is a mineral oil based hydraulic fluid, containing oxidation and corrosion inhibitors that minimise wear and foaming. Shear stable VI improvers ensure that viscosity is maintained in service. The product is formulated for use in all agricultural hydraulic lifting equipment and hydrostatic transmissions and gives optimum performance under the extremes of temperature conditions.

Hydraulic Oils

Energol HLP-HM is a range of mineral based hydraulic fluids conforming to the international classification ISO Type HM and offering a wide choice of viscosities. The properties of their solvent-refined base oils are enhanced by full additive treatment to minimize corrosion, oxidation, foaming and machinery wear. Available in viscosity grades ISO 10, 22, 32, 46, 68, 100 and 150.

Bartran HV is a range of premium quality multigrade mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids of high Viscosity Index (VI) and containing zinc-free anti-wear additives. Bartran HV oils display high performance characteristics with outstanding ultra fine filterability. The selection of shear stable VI-improvers ensures that the viscosity is maintained at design levels in service. Available in viscosity grades ISO 15, 22, 32, 46, 68 and 100.

Energol GR XP are a range of high quality lead-free EP oils having outstanding thermal stability and high load-carrying capacity. The formulation provides excellent corrosion protection, anti-foam characteristics, demulsibility and oxidation resistance. Very good viscosity characteristics ensure that starting torques are not excessive in cold conditions. The additives used are compatible with the ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in industrial gear units, while the EP properties are provided by a sulphur-phosphorous additive. Available in viscosity grades ISO 68, 100, 150, 220, 320, 460 and 680.

Enersyn SG 150 is a fully synthetic lubricant with a high VI, based on carefully selected polyglycols and containing anti-oxidant and rust-inhibiting additives of high thermal stability. It is especially suitable for the high-temperature lubrication of gears and bearings, and provides scope for extended drain intervals.

Enersyn SG XP 220 is a fully synthetic lubricant, based on carefully selected polyglycols and containing anti-oxidant, rust-inhibiting and EP additives of high thermal stability. It is especially suitable for the high-temperature lubrication of gears and bearings, and provides scope for extended drain intervals.

Enersyn LPS 68 is formulated from blended alkylated benzene synthetic base stocks, and incorporates additives that improve oxidation stability when used in air compressors. It is recommended for reciprocating and rotary screw compressors employed in industrial refrigeration systems.

Enersyn RX-100 is a high performance, diester based synthetic lubricant (ISO-VG 100) for use in reciprocating air compressors, and specifically for the crankcase and cylinder lubrication of high pressure reciprocating air compressors operating at elevated temperatures.

Energol JS-A is a pure hydrocarbon oil specially refined and blended from selected crude oils to comfortably surpass the limiting values of the international specification IEC 296 – Class 1 and the British National specification BS 148: 1984. For use as a transformer, switchgear and circuit breaker oil.

Transcal N is a high quality mineral oil possessing low vapour-pressure characteristics as well as high levels of thermal stability, specific heat and thermal conductivity. It is recommended for non-pressurised, closed liquid-phase heating systems operating at bulk fluid temperatures of up to 320C and a maximum film temperature of 340C.

Transcal LT is a high quality mineral oil combining low vapour pressure and high levels of thermal stability, specific heat and thermal conductivity with exceptional low temperature fluidity. It is recommended primarily for non-pressurised closed liquid-phase heating systems that incorporate both heating and cooling branches.

Quendila PA is organic polymer-in-water cold quenching fluid that contains additives to combat corrosion and extend its service life. By virtue of its formulation and its subsequent dilution before use, it is also fire resistant.

Energol THB has been developed to meet the lubrication requirements for turbines and turbocompressors where a mineral based oil is required. The additive treatment ensures good anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion and demulsification properties and absence of foaming in service. The grades in this range meet the lubrication requirements of steam turbines, but are also suitable for gas turbines and compressors. Energol THB is adequate for equipment where manufacturers specify a TOST life of 4000 hours (to acidity level 2.0 mgKOH/g). Meets DIN 51515.

Microtrend MP is a premium quality, biostable, water miscible cutting fluid concentrate, with a mineral oil content of over 40% which gives it the optimum balance of machining performance, emulsion stability, corrosion protection and low foam characteristics. It is also chlorine-free. An ideal multi-purpose cutting fluid, it can be used for the majority of machining operations – drilling, turning, milling – on free machining steels, cast irons, medium tensile steels, aluminium alloys and non-ferrous metals. Grinding operations are also possible.

Cilora 32 is a highly versatile neat cutting oil. It is a multi-purpose product, capable of machining a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is suitable for use in tapping and thread rolling operations, turning, milling and some form grinding. It is particularly recommended for thread grinding on mild steel and alloy steels and the more difficult to machine brasses.

Sevora HC 712 is one of an advanced generation of neat cutting oils using BP’s unique hydrocracked base oils and incorporating new chlorine free EP additive technology. It is suitable for a very wide range of machining operations – normal and high speed – with a variety of different feedstocks. It can be used in bar turning, milling, turning, thread rolling operations on medium and high tensile steels. It can also be used for the machining of non ferrous materials such as aluminium and copper based alloys.

Sevora HC 713 is one of an advanced range of neat oils based on BP’s unique hydrocracked base oils. It is formulated for high speed and form grinding operations and is particularly recommended for the deep grinding of heat treated alloy steels and flute grinding of twist drills. Used with CBN or classic grinding wheels it can considerably reduce surface burns thereby prolonging wheel life.

Sevora 721 M is a medium viscosity, mild EP neat cutting oil, consisting of a highly refined mineral oil and chlorine free performance additives. It is recommended for general machining operations including light gear cutting and surface grinding of free cutting, low/medium tensile steels and non-ferrous metals.

Sevora 723 M is a mild EP, medium viscosity, neat cutting oil, blended from high quality solvent refined mineral oil and sulphurised fatty material. It is recommended mainly for use in single and multi-spindle automatic lathes working on a variety of non ferrous metals to medium tensile steels. It is also suitable for light duty gear cutting operations and gear grinding.

Dielectric 200T is formulated to suit spark erosion machines of all power ratings and sizes. The product is a premium quality, multipurpose dielectric fluid, designed to enable optimum rates of metal removal, together with low electrode wear, good surface finish and fine tolerances. Low viscosity ensures good cooling and flushing actions in narrow spark gaps.

Energrease LC 2 is a multi-purpose high performance grease, based on mineral oil and a lithium complex soap and containing a red dye to differentiate from conventional soap type lithium greases. It is primarily recommended for high temperature applications such as papermaking machinery or bearings of ventilation machinery and oven fans as well as general applications on industrial machinery, electric motors, steel mills, railway axle-boxes, construction equipment and machine tools.

Energrease L 21 M is a lithium based grease with molybdenum disulphide and containing corrosion and anti-oxidant additives. It is intended for general lubrication applications of vehicles and off-highway equipment.

Energrease LS-EP 00 is a high quality lithium based grease which has been designed for the lubrication of gearboxes and geared motors that demand a semi-fluid grease, plain bearings, roller bearings and sliding surfaces. It forms a resilient lubricating film able to withstand high pressures at high temperatures and high rotating speeds. The EP properties of this grease ensure minimum mechanical wear, and, together with its water resistance and anti-corrosion capability, lead to a high level of equipment protection.

Energrease FG OO-EP is a semi-fluid extreme pressure grease based on polymer thickened mineral oils. A sulphur-phosphorous additive is incorporated to provide the EP properties required by heavily loaded steel gears and an oxidation inhibitor is also included to ensure long service life.  Fully compatible with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, Energrease FG OO-EP is used extensively in industrial spur, bevel, worm and helical enclosed gears.

Energrease ZS 00 is based on a lithium soap and highly refined synthetic hydrocarbon fluid. It contains additives conferring excellent adhesion, anti-corrosion, wear protection and load carrying capabilities and is intended for use in centralised chassis lubrication systems in trucks, buses and off-highway equipment.

Energrease AS 11 is used for the lubrication, corrosion protection and prevention of seizing of metal surfaces in screw thread connections subject to heavy loads and high torque, and can also be used on drill pipes used in oil drilling operations. The compound is based on a lithium soap grease and contains high amounts of metal flakes.
