AUTOMOTIVE – Commercial

Castrol Elixion 0W-30 – a revolutionary fully synthetic diesel engine oil achieving outstanding performance in Euro 2 and Euro 3 engines. Reduces engine friction, thereby improving fuel efficiency by a minimum 4% compared to 15W-40 mineral oil. Allows maximum possible drain intervals recommended by manufacturers, minimising expensive downtime by keeping vehicles on the road for longer.

Castrol Enduron Plus 5W-40 – fully synthetic oil designed to maximise oil drain intervals and lengthen engine life. Excellent fuel saving performance.

Castrol Enduron 10W-40 – semi-synthetic oil designed to extend oil drain intervals whilst increasing engine life.

Castrol Tection 15W-40 – designed to give excellent performance in all commercial vehicle engines. Its combination of protection, extended drain performance and versatility make it a natural choice for truck, bus and van fleets.

Castrol Tection monogrades – a range of monograde engine oils developed from high quality mineral crankcase lubricants. Available in SAE 10W, 20W and 30 and 40 grades specified in applications from monograde engine oils to hydraulic or transmission applications that specify this performance level.

Syntrans – is a fully synthetic 75W-85 manual transmission fluid designed to extend oil drain intervals and provide outstanding protection in truck, bus and light commercial vehicle transmissions where API GL-4 lubricants are required.

Dynadrive – is a part synthetic SAE 80W-90 universal gear oil designed to meet the requirements of heavy duty manual transmission axles.

Dynadrive Plus – is a 75W-90 universal heavy duty gear lubricant. Its primary applications are in manual transmissions, transfer cases and drive axles of DAF, Scania, MAN, Eaton, Iveco and RVI equipment.

EPX range – is designed for the lubrication of spiral bevel and hypoid differentials and is also suitable for manual transmissions where the manufacturer recommends an oil meeting API GL-5 performance.

EP range – contains manual transmission fluids designed to lubricate spur and helical gears where the manufacturer specifies use of an extreme pressure lubricant.

Automatic Transmission Fluids

Transmax Z – is a synthetic automatic transmission fluid designed for use at maximum oil drain intervals in buses and coaches with automatic or semi-automatic transmissions.

TQ D III – specially designed to meet the requirements of General Motors Dexron IIIH, Ford Mercon and Allison C4 applications.

TQ-D – fully meets the requirements of Dexron IID type fluid.

Pyroplex Blue – an NLGI 2 grease for extreme conditions. Pyroplex Blue is the ultimate lithium complex grease for very wet and challenging on and off highway environments.

CLS Grease – is a semi-fluid extreme pressure grease, for use in the central lubricating systems of commercial vehicles.

LMX Grease – is a high performance lithium complex grease for use in ball or roller bearings operating at high speeds and high loads.

Spheerol L-EP 2 – is a lithium based general purpose grease to protect bearings components subject to heavy and shock loadings.

Multiplant – is an advanced high performance, multi use, mobile plant, mineral based oil. It has been developed to meet a comprehensive range of requirements within the construction, demolition and plant hire industries. Its unique properties are designed to allow the use of one oil for most applications on site, including engines, transmissions, compressors and hydraulics.

Castrol Antifreeze and Summer Coolant is a balanced formulation of mono ethylene glycol and corrosion inhibitors, recommended for use in the cooling systems of petrol or diesel vehicles with aluminium or cast iron engines, all year round. A 33% concentration will protect to –18C but Castrol recommend that a 50/50 mixture be maintained, providing for frost protection to –35C. Whilst this is excessive for conditions encountered in the UK, this mixture maintains the correct level of oxygen scavengers and corrosion inhibitors.

AGRICULTURAL

Engine and Universal Oils

Agri Power Ultra – 10W-40 engine oil offering ultimate performance and protection for farm and road vehicles using the most advanced Castrol technology.

Agri Power Plus – is a 15W-40 diesel engine oil designed to provide excellent protection for all agricultural vehicles.

Agri Power – is suitable for use in older machinery or those operating under moderate operating conditions.

Agri MP Plus – is a Super Universal Tractor Oil that delivers high performance and protection for engine, transmission, wet brake, hydraulics and front axles.

Agri MP – is a universal farm oil for most types of farm machinery.

Agri Trans Plus – is for use in hydraulic, transmission and PTO systems requiring enhanced corrosion protection. It provides the highest levels of wear prevention on start up and throughout the operating period.

Agri Trans Plus AS – is a universal tractor transmission fluid specifically formulated to prevent wet brake squawk.

Agri Gear Plus GL-4 – is a high performance gear oil for use in all applications where an API GL-4 product is required.

Agri Gear Plus GL-5 – is a high performance gear oil for use in all applications where an API GL-5 product is required.

Agri Grease Plus – is a high quality lithium extreme pressure grease, formulated to provide optimum wear protection under the most arduous operating conditions.

Agri Grease – is a good quality multipurpose grease for various farm applications.

Horticultural

Horticultural 4-Stroke Lawnmower Engine Oil – is a high quality SAE 30 lubricant formulated with high quality mineral oils which contains selected additives to control high temperature ‘varnish’ and give good anti-wear and carbon dispersancy affording maximum protection.

Horticultural 4-Stroke Engine Oil – is a superior quality 10W-40 lubricant, formulated to meet the demanding operating conditions found in air-cooled four stroke petrol engines fitted to horticultural and similar machines.

Horticultural 2-Stroke Lawnmower Engine Oil – is a superior quality lubricant specially formulated for high powered two stroke engines. It gives a high degree of engine protection under the most arduous operating conditions.

Horticultural 2-Stroke Chainsaw Engine Oil -  – is a high quality lubricant specially formulated for high powered two stroke chainsaw engines. It gives a high degree of engine protection under the most arduous operating conditions.

Horticultural Chainsaw Chain Oil – is formulated from highly refined mineral oil blended with adhesive additives to minimise ‘fling-off’. It offers maximum protection to prolong chain life.

Horticultural One Shot 2-Stroke Engine Oil – for use in all two stroke lawnmowers, chainsaws etc. Suitable for use at fuel/oil mixture ratios of up to 40:1, as specified by the equipment manufacturer.

Hydraulic Oil Plus – is a high quality, high performance hydraulic oil for use where ISO 32, 46 & 68 specifications are required. Highly shear stable, it maintains year-round optimum protection and performance across a wide range of operating temperatures.

Agri MMO (Milking Machine Oil) – a mineral based vacuum pump oil suitable for use in most milk machine vacuum pumps. It prevents corrosion and prolongs component life.

INDUSTRIAL

Hydraulic Oils

Hyspin AWS – is based on highly refined mineral oils with a low zinc-containing anti-wear system. Shows excellent hydrolytic and oxidative stability while exhibiting minimal tendency to produce sludge and deposits. Also provides corrosion protection for the ferrous and yellow metal components found in hydraulic systems.

Hyspin AWH-M – is a shear stable, high VI version of Hyspin AWS.

Hyspin VG – is specially formulated to provide outstanding protection against rust and oxidation while demonstrating excellent lubricity. Hyspin VG is designed for use in hydraulic systems which do not need anti-wear performance but where a degree of rust and oxidation resistance is desirable. It is also suitable for pumps which contain silver plated components.

Anvol – a range of fire resistant hydraulic oils.

Optileb HY range – non-toxic hydraulic fluids, manufactured solely from FDA listed ingredients for use within the food industry, particularly where incidental contact with foodstuffs may occur.
Optileb HY 32 is USDA H1 / NSF Approved Certificate No. 134151

Alpha SP – a range of high quality solvent refined mineral oils, fortified with sulphur-phosphorous compounds to impart anti-wear and extreme pressure properties.

Alpha ZN – a range of high quality anti-wear gear oils based on high quality solvent refined mineral oils, intended for the lubrication of worm-wheel gearboxes and spur gears where a full extreme pressure gear oil is not required.

Alpha Max – is a high performance gear oil containing a unique EP additive package. It has proven benefits over standard EP gear oils including outstanding protection against micro-pitting, protection of bearings as well as gears and proven energy savings.

Alpha MG 320 – a high performance, high viscosity index industrial gear oil which is specifically formulated to encourage rationalisation of lubricants and hence reduce the overall number of products held in oil stores.

Alphasyn range – a range of synthetic gear oils, which allow oil change intervals to be extended and provide outstanding thermal stability and load carrying ability.

Alpha Gel – is a semi-fluid synthetic gear lubricant primarily intended for ‘sealed for life’ gearboxes. Alpha Gel is a soft, self-levelling, thixotropic lubricant which flows easily when agitated by gear teeth but which gels when not in motion and restricts leakage past worn or defective seals. 

Slideway Oils

Magna GC 32 – a light viscosity slideway lubricant designed for machine tools fitted with combined hydraulic and slideway lubrication systems.

Magna BD 68 – slideway oil with a high degree of lubricity and good load carrying properties. Recommended for horizontal slideways.

Magna CF 220 – slideway oil with a high degree of lubricity and good load carrying properties. Recommended for heavily loaded and vertical slides.

Magnaglide D products are high performance demulsifying slideway lubricants, based on mineral oils and blended with highly efficient friction modifiers and extreme pressure additives. They can be used on all horizontal and vertical slideways where a high quality demulsifying lubricant is required for slideway protection and to maximise coolant life, whilst the outstanding frictional characteristics of the products prevent stick-slip, improving surface finish and tolerances of machined components and reducing rejection rates.

Aircol MR 46 – is formulated from a highly refined base oil with a carefully balanced complement of additives to provide improved oxidative and thermal stability. It also incorporates anti-wear additives to meet the requirements of Atlas-Copco, and similar types of compressor design. Aircol MR 46 meets the requirements of oil-flooded rotary screw compressors operating continuously at air discharge temperatures of up to 90C.

Aircol PD – is a range of oils intended for the lubrication of both reciprocating and rotary air compressors.  Aircol PD oils have excellent oxidation resistance and low carbon-forming tendencies and meet the requirements of the DIN 51506 VD-L classification of lubricants for compressors having  air discharge temperatures up to 220C. Available in a range of viscosities to suit different types of compressors operating in varying ambient temperatures.

Aircol SN compressor lubricants are high quality synthetic diesters. They were developed to cope with the severe operating conditions experienced in rotary screw, rotary vane and reciprocating air compressors operating at high compression ratios and high discharge temperatures. Aircol SN grades offer up to eight times the service life of mineral oils in reciprocating units, due to their reduced carbon forming tendencies and much higher oxidation resistance.

Aircol SR 46 – is an ester free synthetic compressor oil for use in rotary screw compressors. It has outstanding oxidation stability and anti-wear performance; the ester free formulation eliminates acidic corrosion resulting from hydrolysis.

Refrigerated Compressor Oils

Icematic. The Castrol Icematic 229 range of synthetic refrigeration oils are formulated from selected polyalphaolefin base fluids. They are specifically designed for refrigeration systems using screw type compressors in conjunction with very low evaporating temperatures. They may also be specified for certain systems using reciprocating compressors with high compression ratios and high discharge temperatures.

Icematic SW – is a range of synthetic ester-based refrigeration compressor lubricants specifically formulated for use with environmentally friendly non-CFC refrigerants – particularly HFC 134a. Also suitable for use in systems using CFC and HCFC refrigerants. Available in a wide range of viscosities to suit all types of compressor, ranging from small domestic and automotive appliances to the largest industrial units.

Perfecto T – is a range of turbine oils based on highly refined mineral oils, with selective additives to improve their inherent high oxidation stability and to protect against corrosion of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. They are primarily intended for the lubrication of steam turbines, base oils used being selected to give the requisite water separation characteristics, resistance to foaming and the good air entrainment properties essential for this demanding application. Perfecto T oils are also suitable for water turbines, the power turbines of generating sets based on aero-derived gas turbines and for many industrial gas turbines.

Perfecto HPT - is a range of turbine oils based on highly refined mineral oils, selected for their inherent high oxidation stability and resistance to sludge formation, further reinforced by oxidation inhibitors chosen to give maximum protection at high temperatures. This high oxidation stability ensures long oil life and minimises deposit formation and lacquering within the turbine lubrication system. Specifically developed for industrial gas turbines where the lubricant is likely to be exposed to very high local temperatures, Perfecto HPT grades are also the preferred choice for Combined Cycle generating systems where the steam and gas turbines share a common oil supply.

Clearedge EP 284 – is a high performance nitrite free soluble coolant for general machine shop use. It is suitable for a wide range of machining operations on most common engineering materials including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stainless steels and ceramics. It has proven success in applications as diverse as turning on multi-tool and automatic lathes, drilling, reaming, profiling, milling, threading with preformed cutters and grinding by surface, cylindrical, centreless and creep-feed techniques.

Cooledge – Cooledge BI is a non-phenolic general purpose soluble cutting fluid for use in a wide range of machining operations with a variety of materials. Cooledge BI is particularly suitable for use with steel and cast iron components, but is not recommended for use with copper alloys – Cooledge CB is suggested for this purpose.

Hysol – is a comprehensive range of premium quality soluble cutting fluids.
Including:-
Hysol AL for machining aluminium
Hysol EP for arduous cutting processes such as broaching
Hysol G for cutting steel
Hysol G100 – a semi synthetic fluid for grinding and light duty machining
Hysol GS for ferrous and non-ferrous metals where foaming is an issue
Hysol X – a chlorine free fluid for arduous processes
Hysol XRR – chlorine free long life fluid for ferrous metals

Almaredge FX – is a chlorine and nitrite free long life extreme pressure semi synthetic soluble cutting fluid, suitable for a wide range of general machining applications on high tensile steels and other materials that are difficult to machine.

Superedge – is a range of heavy duty soluble cutting oils.

Syntilo – a range of fully synthetic soluble cutting fluids.

Honilo – is a range of neat metalworking fluids.
Including:-
Honilo 170 – for honing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
Honilo 171 – for honing and automatic lathe work
Honilo 401 – for honing on cast iron, deep hole drilling and boring
Honilo 482 – for honing on cast iron
Honilo 981 – sulphur and chlorine free for honing metals of a more difficult nature
Honilo 982 – recommended for honing high tensile steels and nickel alloys using carborundum or diamond stones. Also suitable for machining aluminium, aluminium alloys and other non-ferrous metals

Ilocut – a range of neat metalworking fluids.
Including:-
Ilocut 106 – highly refined mineral oil blended with sulphurised neutral fats. Particularly suited to threading, milling and gear shaping.
Ilocut 154 – medium viscosity mineral oil with inactive sulphur additions. Excellent results on multi-spindle automatics, capstan and turret lathes and on routine machining where medium tensile steels up to 45 tons tensile are cut.
Ilocut 334 – sulphurised fatty/mineral cutting oil. Extreme pressure properties provided by active sulphur in solution. Boring operations in general deep hole drilling. Not recommended for cuprous metals.
Ilocut 400 is a light cut solvent refined oil of high wetting power and good cooling ability. Suitable for spark erosion operations where fine and superfine finishes are required.
Ilocut 482 is a mineral based neat cutting oil with chlorinated additives. For general use on automatic lathes, in production thread grinding and form grinding operations.
Ilocut 486 is a clear pale yellow straight cutting fluid manufactured from solvent refined mineral oil and blended with fatty oil and chlorinated additives.Suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals in general use on automatic and multi-tool lathes, production thread grinding, broaching, milling and gear hobbing.

Spheerol L-EP – is a range of lithium based general purpose greases to protect bearings components subject to heavy and shock loadings.

Spheerol EPL 00 is a NLGI 00 semi fluid grease suitable for centralised lubrication systems and grease filled gearboxes.

Spheerol B2 is a high temperature non-melting grease, based on bentonite clay thickeners, suitable for temperatures up to 180C.

Spheerol BM2 is a high temperature grease with the addition of molybdenum disulphide solid lubricant to provide protection when subjected to heavy or shock loadings. It is also useful in the lubrication of chains, swivels and shackles to prevent scuffing.

Spheerol SX2 is a calcium complex, extreme pressure grease specifically developed to provide a high degree of resistance to water wash and to provide protection to components in wet environments.

LM Grease is a smooth lithium based grease, well proven as a chassis grease. It is also a good wheel bearing and automotive grease for use over a wide range of temperatures.

LMX Grease is a high performance lithium complex grease intended for use in ball or roller bearings operation at high speeds or high loads, or at temperatures beyond the limits of conventional lithium bearing greases.

ACL 000 Grease is a semi-fluid (NLGI 000) extreme pressure grease for use in the automatic chassis lubrication systems of commercial vehicles.

CLS Grease is a semi-fluid (NLGI 00) extreme pressure grease for use in the central lubricating systems of commercial vehicles.

Impervia GS is a calcium based grease with natural resistance to water and giving protection against corrosion even in the presence of salt water.

Impervia MDX is a soft tacky grease with an inorganic thickener containing the solid lubricant molybdenum disulphide. It is suitable for high temperature, high load applications including shock loading conditions, such as slew ring gears on cranes and excavators, and wire rope lubrication where conventional oil or solvent applied lubricants are not practicable.

Impervia MMO has been developed as a chassis lubricant particularly for use on heavy duty vehicles where wear of pins and brushes on spring ends, shackles and hangers can be troublesome. Also suitable for low to medium speed applications such as small gearboxes on horticultural and agricultural machinery.

Impervia TR Light is a semi-fluid calcium based grease, formulated for use on track rollers. Its consistency and adhesive properties also make it ideally suited for use in slow/medium speed, moderately loaded applications such as gearboxes where leakage is a problem.

Pyroplex Black is a lithium based grease containing friction reducing molybdenum disulphide. It can be used for swivels and shackles and where a sliding motion can lead to scuffing. Recommended as a fifth wheel grease.

Pyroplex Blue is a blue tacky lithium complex grease with multifunctional solid lubricant additive. The ultimate lubricant for very wet and performance challenging on and off highway environments.

Pyroplex Red is an extreme pressure lithium complex grease capable of operating effectively at high temperatures and pressures. It can be used in automotive applications, industrial and off-highway plant. It is suited to high load / high speed conditions and ball or roller bearing lubrication.

Longtime PD is a range of solid free, high pressure greases for long term lubrication in a wide range of applications.

Firetemp XT 2 is a synthetic high temperature grease for rolling and sliding bearings at normal to medium peripheral speeds and high operating temperatures. The fully synthetic, thermally stable structure guarantees long relubrication intervals at maximum operational reliability.

Thermogrease 2 is a black, fully synthetic high temperature grease for the lubrication of rolling and sliding bearings subjected to high pressures.

Molub-Alloy 936 SF Heavy OG Grease is a uniquely compounded open gear lubricant specifically developed for use on heavy duty equipment in mining and industrial applications.

Optitemp HT Greases are high performance greases for long term lubrication of rolling and sliding bearings at high operating temperatures as well as at normal or medium bearing pressures.

Careclean MP is an aqueous cleaner with a mild alkali formulation for precision cleaning of lightly soiled parts to the most demanding specifications in a wide range of modern equipment.

Careclean S-Premium is a low alkalinity liquid aqueous cleaner containing biodegradable surfactants and corrosion inhibitors, designed to be user-friendly and environmentally friendly.

Careclean XHP is a low alkalinity corrosion inhibitor for use with very high pressure industrial spray washing machines. It is phosphate, silicate and nitrite free, and has exceptionally low foaming characteristics.

Flexiclean is a multi-purpose low foaming liquid alkaline cleaner which can be used over a wide range of temperatures. It is both nitrite and phosphate free, as well as being suitable for virtually all ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Techniclean AD is a free flowing crystalline powder based on sulphamic acid, which is readily soluble in water to give an acid solution suitable for use as a scale remover. It is safer to use and handle than strong acid liquid products.

Techniclean AS 58 is a low odour solvent cleaner which has been developed as an alternative to chlorinated solvent cleaner.

Techniclean DF is a mildly alkaline aqueous cleaner designed for dip and ultrasonic immersion cleaning of ferrous metals in production engineering.

Techniclean DG1 is a general purpose emulsifiable solvent degreaser for removing oil, grease, soft carbon, fuel combustion products and tar.

Techniclean HD is a liquid detergent cleaner for use with ferrous metals in all forms of dip tank, ultrasonic and spray washing machines to remove heavy soils such as hard film corrosion preventatives, filled forming oils and carbonaceous deposits.

Techniclean MP is a liquid detergent cleaner with corrosion inhibition and multi-metal compatability. It is designed for use in all forms of dip tank and ultrasonic washing machines and will remove light/medium soils such as cutting fluids, light corrosion preventives, lubricants and greases.

Techniclean S-Extra is a mild alkaline process cleaner specifically designed to combine the benefits of single stage cleaning and superior corrosion protection. It is a very versatile, multi-metal cleaner formulated to remove medium duty soils, in industrial spray washing machines.

Techniclean S-Plus is a liquid detergent cleaner with corrosion inhibition and multi-metal compatability. It is designed for use in all forms of industrial spray washing machines, including intensive flood washers. It will remove medium soils such as neat cutting fluids, thin film corrosion preventatives, lubricants and greases.

Techniclean SF is a mildly alkaline, low foaming, liquid spray wash cleaner specifically designed to give all temperature, all pressure capability on ferrous metals within production engineering.

Techniclean XHD is a liquid detergent for use with ferrous metals. It is designed for use in all forms of dip tank, ultrasonic and spray washing machines to remove heavy soils such as rust, carbon and paint.

Rustilo 150 is a solid film type rust preventative, used for general purpose long term protection.

Rustilo 431 is a reversible protective grease.

Rustilo 647 is a general purpose medium term inhibited protective oil.

Rustilo Aqua 2 is a medium viscosity mineral oil containing film forming additives and coupling agents supplied as a concentrate for dilution with water prior to use.

Rustilo DW 4130 is a soft film solvent deposited temporary corrosion preventive and dewatering fluid formulated to give excellent long term indoor protection.
